Preparing our list for Santa

Jackson and Mia LOVE the Sunday paper toy ads. It was so cute to watch them scanning the Target ad this week telling me what they were going to ask Santa for this year. I totally remember diving into the Sears and JCPenney big catalogs as a kid looking through all the toys and putting together my "wish list." So fun! Christmas is coming fast, better get shopping!

Grandpa visit

I had to work this weekend, like most weekends, but Matt had plenty of help with the kids this weekend. Saturday morning my mom took Jackson and Mia to her house for craft time. Looks to me like they had fun!
Grandpa Capper and Angie stopped by on Saturday afternoon with some of their dogs (Jackson's personal request) and I think the kids had a great time. Please excuse the drool on the twins shirts, at least I think it is drool:).
Sunday was mass with Memaw and Papaw, a visit with Uncle Charley and Aunt Kelly, and help from Memaw and Papaw the rest of the day with the kids. We are so blessed for our families!!

We're not in Kansas anymore

Mia is officially obsessed with her Dorothy shoes. Although she does like her "heels" still. And her "colored" shoes. I see many shoe shopping trips in her future. I think my mom and I set a family record once and bought a total of like 15 pairs of shoes in one shopping trip. Am I exaggerating, mom? They were having a sale, right??

A visit from the Taylor's

Rylan, Jackson, and Mia playing with the train

Mia and Austin

Austin (such a little cutie!)
My good friend Dawn Taylor (Burton) came to visit with her mom and two adorable kids today. They were coming from Louisville to Winamac and stopped by on the way. Her little boy Austin is so adorable and it helped me get my baby fix in (I know I still have babies, but not this little!) Rylan loves music as much as Jackson so they had fun playing instruments. So much fun. Made me wish that we lived closer. Great visit Dawnie! Looking forward to seeing you again in a couple of weeks.

Dinos not monkeys??

Grant and Liam were unfortunately unable to be monkeys for halloween (good thing we used their costumes at Zoo Boo) since they both were having breathing difficulties. The doctor thought possibily pneumonia and put them on nebulizer treatments every 4 hours. So with the little dino mask on the nebulizer tubing, they were really dinos for halloween. Good news is they are feeling much better, on antibiotics, and are just on the breathing treatments as needed. Here are some pictures of halloween when they were feeling a bit better.

Jackson and Mia had a great time trick or treating. Nana and I took them while my in-laws watched the twins. We went around the little circle in our neighborhood. They actually said treat or treat and thank you to everyone!
