Last year Matt and I decided that we would make a new anniversary gift rule and buy each other an "As Seen on TV" item. I was truthfully thrilled with this idea because I was once (ok still am at times) an addict of infomercials. I am very familiar with the yelling of Billy Mays and the food savy of Cathy Mitchell. Not familiar with these two? Tune into almost any channel between the hours of 3am-5am and you will probably find them in at least one infomercial. Anyway, Matt and I are currently the proud owers of the tater mitts, the islice, and the stickNclick. New additions to our made for TV line include the aquaglobes, salsa maker, and patch perfect. Although the tater mitts are still in their original container, I fully intend to use my aqua globe on the one plant I have managed not to kill in our 6 years of marriage. My good friend, Melanie gave it to me after we bought our first house. It is a "money tree" and we are sort of superstitious about keeping it alive (especially now, right?) I'll let you know how it works. I think it is a fun tradition!

Tater Mitts... why didn't I think of that?
