Not my name

Mia has been calling Jackson "Jax" lately which I think is so adorable. She is still not able to open her bedroom door in the morning when she wakes up (which is so terribly early lately) so she will calmly, but persistently call "mommy, momma, mom" until I drag my butt out of bed to open her door. She recently discovered that calling for Jackson may be her best option since he is an early riser and a light sleeper. So instead of the many forms of mother typically called out in the morning, she will now call out, "Jax!" until he opens the door. Some days she calls him Jack as well, it depends on her mood, of course (I mean she is female). So although I am a fan of her little nicknames for Jackson, he is not and will correct her frequently as to make it known what his real name is.

The other day I was asking Jackson to pick something up and put it away and I called him "Honey." He replied, "Mommy, I'm not honey. I'm sweetie." Apparently this nickname is alright in Jackson's book...at least for now.
