Jackson had some funny things to say yesterday so I thought I would share...
In the morning he took his hand and pushed the ice dispenser on the refrigerator and put one piece of ice in his hand. Of course I asked him what he was doing in a stern voice to which he replies, "It's ok, mom. I am just watching the reversible change." He learned this on a PBS show called Sid the Science Kid. My mom said that he explained the whole process to her last night about how ice turns to water and then it can turn back into ice making it "reversible change." Little smarty.
Last night Jackson and I were saying prayers. While praying, we often go through the blessings in our lives and thanking God for things like our home, health, and mommy and daddy's jobs. I asked Jackson to tell me what he was thankful for. He said, "I'm thankful for my job, mommy." I asked him to tell me what his job was to which he replied, "Daddy tells me I have a job. My job is to throw the diapers in the trash." Matt often says things like, "Jackson I have a job for you" and Jackson took this to heart. What a job, right? I guess right now though, maybe diaper trash duty wouldn't be so bad of a job. It's a job anyway. We did learn a hard lesson about giving the kids jobs like this though. The twins thought that throwing diapers away was so awesome they started throwing their toys, paci's, or really anything that wasn't nailed down or too heavy for them in the trash. This is unfortunately what we think happened to Matt's iPod. Let's just say that now the trash can is behind a baby gate and the twins are officially fired from their "jobs" at Steuer enterprise.

Too cute! Jackson is a smart kid for sure! Thanks for sharing. ;)
Wow Jackson! I might have to teach reversible change in my class. I'll ask my High School students if they know what that is. Love you all, Aunt Pam
Hysterical! Thanks for sharing!
