Willy Wonka

Liam and Grant love the Oompa Loompa song from Willy Wonka (they totally scared me as a kid, but I guess not them!) Here is video of both of them singing.

This pretty much says it all

Potty training is not going so well. Hopefully we can get the boys trained by the fall since they start pre-school. They are some stubborn kiddos for sure. Definitely not ready yet!

This is what happens...

...when you leave two two-year-old's alone! Bad thing about taking a picture is that they think this behavior is acceptable. Not acceptable, but definitely creative and funny! For some reason, I don't believe this is what the train table was created for.

Paci Kiss

Here is Liam giving baby Kate a "paci kiss." Probably one reason why she ended up in the hospital with RSV last week. Everyone was sick (Grant had pneumonia, everyone else had a respiratory virus) and she unfortunately got it as well. Hard to keep her sweet face away from her loving siblings. She is doing fine now...no cough or congestion at all. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

A new toy horn?

Liam decided to use my breast pump as a horn the other day.

Don't worry...it was clean when he found it!

Festive Shirts

I tried to get some pictures of all the kids in their festive halloween shirts when it was black and orange day at preschool. Here are the results...

Grant (paci) was not in the mood for a photo op

I love this one! You can really see how the twins (here it is Liam) and Jackson look alike.

Apologetic Twins

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a horrible habit of saying "sorry" for totally unnecessary reasons. Why I find the need to constantly apologize is beyond me, but it is something I have done my entire life. It is a hard habit to break and unfortunately, the twins have picked it up. They say "sorry" in their cute little two year old dialect when they fall down, when they drop something or for various other reasons. Funny enough, they are not always quick to say it when it really needs to be said. For example, when they use a toy train to repeatedly hit their brother in the head or when they leave bite marks on their brother's arm for taking a car away. I guess I am sometimes this way also; quick to apologize if it is no big deal, but somewhat stubborn if it is for a legitimate reason. Sometimes having kids makes you see the good and bad in yourself because they imitate so much of what you and your spouse do.

Happy Friday

Liam and Mia were goofing around in the kitchen right before bathtime and I got these two cute pics I had to share. Have a good weekend everyone!

Cheeto Phones

We let Grant and Liam have Cheetos the other day and caught them pretending they were telephones. I guess they are kind of shaped like a phone. Thought this was a cute video. Total goofballs!

Grant having fun with daddy's hat

Sorry for the lack of posting lately. I have been working alot, Matt changed jobs and we are adjusting, trying to squeeze in activities before school starts, etc. We are doing well, just busy. I have pictures to share from the state fair, our trip to Winamac and Indiana Beach, and more. Hopefully sometime soon I will have time to sort through them all to share.

Playing "Daddy"

Liam and Grant decided to play "daddy" the other day with Bert and one of Mia's baby dolls. Liam wanted me to wrap up baby Bert so he could hold him. He carried him around for quite awhile. Grant thought the baby needed a little snack. Such little loving cuties!
