Silly Grandpa

Seriously, is there anything better than babies laughter??

Throwback Thursday

This video was taken when Mia was 8 days old and Jackson was 17 months. Mia was a very fussy baby for the first 6 months of life, but she was very quick to smile. I love how "gentle" Jackson is with her-hilarious. I also love videos taken by Matt and his commentary in the background. Since I am usually behind the camera, it is nice to get Matt's impression of things and see him interact with the kids when I'm not around. Enjoy!

We had Mia's 3rd birthday party on Sunday. It was a nice day with family. She loved getting all of the attention (see the picture of her leading everyone in Simon Says), loved her cake, and loved her presents. I didn't have to work and we ordered pizza so it was a very relaxing day for me as well. I have some videos of the party that I will share later this week. It was a great time. I think 3rd birthday's are the best for the kids as it is one that they finally understand what is going on. I think she loved it!

Sickies again

Just a short post tonight-Matt, myself, Jackson and Mia all have the pukes again. Since we just had a birthday and superbowl party this Sunday, I pray we did not give these little bundles of joy to any friends or family. If we did, I am so sorry because the way we feel is definitely not pleasant. Mia is probably the worst of us all. We spent most of the day curled up on the couch in blankets watching TV or movies. Luckily the twins are not sick and really behaved well today for not getting the normal amount of playtime or attention. Hopefully all will be well in the morning. I'll post pics from Mia's party tomorrow!

Mamaw and Papaw kept all 4 children (God bless them!) Friday night so Matt and I could enjoy a night alone. She got some great pictures of their night at their house. Matt and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Fogo de chao. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is a meat lover. It was so yummy, but bring your appetite!! We slept in and got ready for Mia's birthday party which was on Sunday. Watch for party pictures tomorrow. As always we cannot thank our families enough for watching our children so we are able to spend time together. It really makes a big difference in everyone's happiness!

Little Picasso's

Jackson had a snow day from school Thursday so we broke out the painting supplies.
I thought I would let the twins have a chance to paint on their own for the first time.
Until this started happening...
"What mom? I'm just painting!
