Waiting for the big show

Mia being shy.

Jackson goofing around!

Jackson tickling Liam

The boys discussing something important.

Grant is always cheesing it!
Since I had to work this weekend (boo!), we went to the fireworks Friday night. Turns out because of the rain, it was a pretty good idea! We definitely got to the park WAY too early, so the kids were getting pretty restless by the time the fireworks started (not to mention it didn't start until 2 hours past the normal bedtime!) Here are some pictures of them playing on the blanket prior to the big show. Mia was the only one that wasn't totally thrilled about the fireworks. She thought they were too loud, but started getting into it when she saw some shaped like hearts. Jackson absolutely loved them. It was awesome to see his excited face and for him to talk about them while they were going on. Grant and Liam seemed unfazed by the whole event. Glad we were able to take them all!

Laughing Liam

Here is a short video of Liam laughing while my Dad was swinging them at their birthday party. He had Grant laughing harder, but I missed it. Seems like Grandpa always gets them laughing!

Little Cutie

My Aunt recently gave this picture of Mia to me from the Race for the Cure. Thought it was too sweet not to post!

Little Chefs

Found these pictures while I was raiding my mother-in-law's memory stick trying to find some more pictures from the twins birthday party. These were from awhile ago at Mamaw and Papaw's house. I think they were making poppyseed muffins. I love the hat Amelia is wearing so I had to share!

Strawberry Picking = Strawberry Smoothie

Nana took Jackson and Amelia overnight a couple of weekends ago and they went strawberry picking. They must have really liked picking the strawberries because they talked about it for days afterwards and loved to go in the refrigerator and grab out a strawberry to taste. Needless to say, we had a delicious, large amount of strawberries to use when they got back. I found a recipe in my Parenting magazine for strawberry smoothies so we got right on making them. Jackson and Mia loved watching me make the smoothies and really enjoyed drinking them. They even talked me into making it look just like the picture by slicing one strawberry in half to decorate the glass. We will definitely be making them again!

Party!

We had a great time this weekend at the boys birthday party! The weather was gorgeous and the company was great! We really couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Here are some pictures from the party. Enjoy!
